I just….

that’s a major operation and change in the infant’s life and they can’t even make the decision themselves to have it or not.

idk I just think things like that should wait until the child is at least old enough to say that it’s something they want.

I’m so baffled by the stupidity of that comment. How can you not see the benefit of a child being able to hear? Who would choose the latter? If you asked that kid if he would like to be able to hear he would say “yes” 20 times out of 10! No one wants to be deaf! Are you dense?

sooooooo… the kid would always say “Yes, yes” every time he was asked a question?
